Bottled on: ?????
A - Dark copper amber colored pour with no lacing and no carbonation.
S - Definite mint with a sweet and sour malt base.
T - Tastes like the nose indicates: mint, citrus, and lime while ending with a slight puckering mixed in with mint.
M - Somewhat thick mouthfeel with a smooth texture and very light carbonation.
O - Yep, tastes like a Mojito, nailed it. I can see this one being a polarizing beer for alot of people because it "ain't" normal.

Pours a murky yellow-brown, no head formation. Nose is pure toothpaste, perhaps with a hint of something savory underneath. Taste is aggressively awful - minty toothpaste, sugary lemonade, light citrus, sticky, tacky sugar. Not remotely close to a mojito; instead, it's a mix of Smirnoff Ice and menthol. The mouthfeel is off-putting - chewy, slick, with only slight carbonation. The green Ecto-Cooler sludge at the bottom of the bottle is a chef's kiss FU from 3F to you.

A pretty unattractive and oddly clear dark amber to brown body builds no head after what khaki bubbles do pop up instantly and audibly fizzle out.
My lord, taste is big time, zesty and tangy spearmint gum and toothpaste right up front, and it's weird as fuck. This weirdness is made more intense when actual malt characteristics come back up in the exhale, resembling melba toast.
The second sip does maybe come closer to a mojito, with impressions of rum or some other spirit, but the spearmint really throws me off. I don't usually associate that kind of mint with the cocktail so much as chewing gum or toothpaste, but it's so distinct and so dominant that it's frankly off-putting.
I couldn't finish this beer, but the fun didn't stop at the drainpour. For fuck's sake, upon rinsing the bottle, there was this green goop at the bottom that turned the rinse water a glowing neon green, as if they literally used toothpaste to flavor this monstrosity. WTF?!?!

It has a surprising mint forward flavor that fades as you drink it. Nice sour lime flavor comes through with a sweet but mostly sour finish. It is abrupt when you first take a few drinks but grows on you as you continue to drink it. Overall a unique, quirky profile but is satisfying as you finish it.

Appearance - This is an ugly colored beer. I would describe it as swamp water green.
Smell - Lime led the way, but the mint was also easily detectable.
Taste - This was mojito in beer form. It was a bit mint heavy at times, but pretty well-balanced overall. As it warms, the lime brought to mind a melted lime popsicle. The aftertaste was a bit earthy.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation was modest. There was a modest level viscosity.
Overall - It is not for everybody, but I enjoyed it. On a sidenote, the mint is so potent in this one that nothing tasted right for several hours.

Modeled after the popular island cocktail, 3 Floyds evokes memories of Halle Berry as a Bond girl before their mojito inspired sour ale even hits the bottom of the glass. Lime, mint, sugar and sour all converge in a minty treat for the tastebuds and for memory lane.
Swooning the senses with an overwhelming scent of mint, the nose also picks up on the lime sweetness in a key-lime pie kind of way. With a sour twinge upon the nose, the golden-chrome ale starts to layer upon the tongue with a sugary coat of honey, light caramel, sweet tea and agave.
As the light creaminess and simple syrup impressions of the mojito drink satisfies the sweet tooth, the brighter flavors of lime take center stage with a sweet and sassy lime zest character laced with juicy tartness partly reliant on the fruit but also the lemon, passionfruit, pear and gooseberry backup flavors. The sourness controls the balance as the ale nears closing, only to allow the sweetness to stick around for roundness.
But alas, its the mint that leave final impressions of toothpaste to detract from the overall mojito character in a finish that's minty-sweet with a long, long, long aftertaste of spearmint a hint of tea.

Pours brownish/green in color with no head evident. Nose is mint, not much more. Taste is only lime and mint, nothing more. After taste is fresh mint. If you like mint and lime, this is for you. Abv is not evident.
