Boozy. Bit of a chore to drink. Hop burn. Tropical fruit.

I kicked this keg at Tavern 23 and the goblet sat for a full 10 minutes with 2+ inches of dense white head w/out barely a slump.
Unflitered hazy golden beer with a big hop aroma of mixed fruit - citrus and pineapple with some sugar covered cherries. Solid 3F's malt base and signature nutty malt nose.
Sweet but balanced, and finishes uber bitter on the back end,
Classic BIG 3F's IPA in every way but still not Dreadnaught.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of nice fresh citrus with some tropical fruit. Tastes of nice fresh citrus with some tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Pour is a fantastic deep golden with a thick, fluffy white head. Completely clear with tons of bubbles. Aroma is tons of grapefruit and overripe oranges. Extremely pungent and slightly sweet. Flavor is typical 3 Floyds but sweeter than usual. Heavy on the grapefruit and pine, with a nasty bitter snap before finishing with a slightly sourdough-esque malt sweetness. Very aggressive edge on the flavor but balanced by a lot of sugar. It tastes like a very refined stovepipe IPA in the best way possible. Feel is very carbonated and sharp to enhance the bitterness and quite coating on the finish.
Overall, a 3Floyds classic. My can isn't extremely fresh but the hop flavors are still intense. For the price, you can't go wrong, and it beats out just about every DIPA in its ABV in flavor and drinkability.
