12oz can, dated 05.08.2023, poured into a Three Floyds "Eye of the Beholder" pint glass. Enjoyed on 05.16.2023, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a bright orange copper color, very hazy and cloudy, nice fluffy white head, good height and great lacing. the aroma is very nice, dank, earthy, herbal piney hops, citrus and tropical fruits come out while there is a nice doughy base and some mineral water. The flavors are good, lots of dough, pale and biscuity grain, sweet yeast, herbal and dank hop, green, floral, piney with citrus peel, grassy bitterness, white tea, tropical pineapple moderate the beer. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively, smooth medium body and a very dry finish.

Verdict: A nice hazy IPA from Three Floyds, definitely one of their better iterations of the style. Very bitter, very dank, very green.

Part of the 3 Floyds Variety 12pk. 12oz cans

Pours a yellowish-orange color. Very hazy, totally opaque. A one finger, semi-dense white head on the initial pour.

Very nice aromas of citrus and piney hops.

A good IPA. Flavors of piney resin, orange peel, lemon and earthy grass, if that makes sense. A rather biting, bitter aftertaste. The 7% ABV is not noticeable.

Rather smooth, thicker consistency, low to medium carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA. Nothing really stands out or separates this brew from the myriad of IPAs that are available. It doesn’t meant it’s not good, just nothing to make it memorable. Cheers!

Almost opaque brownish yellow, big white head, rings of lace
Tropical fruit and citrus aroma
Tastes like it smells with some pine, sweet, doughy malt
Fucking thick, low carbonation
Not for me

A NEIPA effort that fell a little short for me, this has a bit of maktiness thst keeps it back from the hazies i crave, not bad, just differenylt and a bit off target for me.

Poured form a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange-yellow color with a big puffy head of foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell -The aroma is heavy of an orange juice and tropical fruit aroma of herbal hop and some grapefruit and pine. Along with these flavors comes notes of a bready and doughy smell with some apricot and peach.
Taste – The taste begins with a malty and bready flavor paired with lots of tangerine, orange juice and tropical flavors of pineapple, papaya and mango. At the same time there is a nice blend of grapefruit and herbal hops as well as a touch of earth. The hops grow stronger as the taste advances with the tropical fruits fading a bit and being replaced by some peach and apricot. Toward the end the earthiness increases, leaving one with a rather juicy citrusy and moderately hoppy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a lower carbonation level. For the style and the flavors, the feel is nice and makes for a good sipper.
Overall – A rather wall done hazy IPA with a lot of flavor and a good overall balance.

12 oz can from a variety 12pk filled 5/18/23 into a pint glass.
L: Pours hazed dark orange with a 1" eggshell white head, fine carbo bubbles, excellent head retention, light skeletal lacing.
S: Mango, pineapple, orange, citrus, floral, citrus zest, a subtle background note of corn.
T: Affably sweet caramel malts, citrus, navel orange, citrus zest, melon, melon rind, oats, lightly earthy, a hint of corn. Fairly resinous. The finish is resinous and tart with a long linger.
F: Smooth and slightly creamy medium to medium-heavy body with a plump and slightly juicy middle and a long moderately dry finish.
O: A very tasty drop. Nice fruity hops with citrus, zest and resin scenes. Somehow a little messy yet quite delicious. It is excellent in its style.

Picked up three of these in the Three Floyds summer variety pack - how could i resist? I am not a huge fan of the hazy NEIPAs anymore, but this one is pretty good. I am drinking it from the can but has great dank citrus smell and taste is same. Mouthfeel is peppery, but foamy and citrus aftertaste. Overall this is not one that I would buy on its own, but glad that I tried.

Pours a muddy straw color with a thin line of head. The notes on the nose are overrippened fruit mixed with dankness. The flavor is very much tropical fruit forward. The mouthfeel is grainy and resiny.

I'm like a broken record, but these folks do not make a bad beer.... That said, this may be one of their least impressive offerings... Certainly a lot of citrus here.... But otherwise pretty bland and normal, and not the flare you would expect from the good folks at Three Floyd's
