Nice bumper color with the frothy white head that left a caressing lacing to the glass. Nose was slightly sweet as was the taste. A decent beer but not the best they have to offer.

Like music to our ears, the hazy IPA plays a similar symphany for the tastebuds. 3 Floyds plays such a tune.
Medium gold and cast in a moderate veil of fog, Tamale Hatchet releases an airy white froth and a fruity, herbal, citrusy perfume and hints of dankness. As the flavors flow over the middle palate, the simple sweetness of honeysuckle, shortcake and cereal make a first impression.
But the hops slowly take control as the malt and cereal fade away and the fruity hop impressions make a mark with fresh orange, lemon, pineapple, passionfruit and papaya. Partly fresh and bright, nearly tangy and with a trailing taste of musty, over ripened fruit trail into a smooth but dank bitterness laced with cedar, verbena, green tea, peppery grasses and a curious sensation of peppermint.
Medium bodied and finishing more snappy, crisp and drying than the average hazy ale, the beer seems to share a lot of witbier character but with more of a pale ale hoppiness.
