draft pour into a snifter. burnt orange with a thin off-white foam cap. slightly hoppy with dark bread-like maltiness. taste follows. very fruity but also quite malty. very drinkable for 9%. full mouthfeel, perfectly carbed. this was quite enjoyable.

 

I guess someone has to add this one. It’s a light brown and copper color. Tastes almost like apple cider, with sweet dark fruits of plums and raisins. Some earthy floralness on the finish from the hops. Lots of sweetness from all the malts. A bit of yeast, but dominated by sweet caramel and ethanol, a bit of toffee. Extremely high alcohol but fairly easy to drink, not too bitter or boozey. Moderate carbonation is high for the style. Medium feel but still coats the tongue. Overall if you want to get buzzed off of one beer that tastes like caramel spiked apple juice you could do a lot worse.
