On-tap at Delilah's. Served in a smallish stange-like taster glass.
A - Thin tan foam settles to a thin collar. Body is pretty much black in the low lighting.
S - Lots of bourbon and vanilla character, with some raisin and dark fruit, molasses, milk chocolate, and a bit of roasted malt. Bourbon character is earthy, with lots of oaken barrel presence, but not much overt alcohol.
T - Taste is again heavy on vanilla and baker's chocolate, with a nice bourbon bite in the finish. Light oak and fairly mellow alcohol. There's a bit of a milk stout vibe going on, and I originally just assumed this was some sort of single-barrel Moloko, but apparently the base stout is new.
M - Medium-bodied, with low carbonation, and a fairly dry and oaky finish with some roasty grit to it as well. Perhaps a bit thin and watery, but it's hard to judge without an approximate ABV.
D - Really mellow and easy to drink - I had a few glasses and would have had more if it weren't so pricey. Hopefully this shows up again in the future, and hopefully someone can give a bit more information about the base beer.

Explained as an experimental test batch to be put into Delilah's 18th anniversary bourbon barrels and aged for 10 months. Served on draft at Delilah's 19th anniversary party in a small 6 oz. glass.
Black body with a thin layer of tan mocha foam. Retention was ok as the head remained for a little while, eventually breaking apart after a few sips. Minimal lacing though there was a little spottiness here and there.
Woody sweet bourbon aroma, some light char and stouty roast.
Flavors of wet wood, blackened malt, dark unsweetened chocolate, trace vanilla. Wood seems dominant, lending some tannic astringency. Finishes dry after a hint of sweetness in the middle. Medium bodied with lower carbonation. Smooth sipper, though the astringent quality of the wood/alcohol brought it down a little bit. Hopefully 10 months of aging smoothes this out.
