750ml bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle number 66/179 handwritten on the side of the bottle. The nose is predominately cherry juice with a touch of oak. The taste has a lingering sweetness from the malts and some tartness from the cherry flavors. I’m surprised by the lack of warmth in the finish from the alcohol. Very smooth finish hiding the alcohol.

A- Brown like a scotch ale
S- Bourbon, blackberries, vanilla
T- Like bourbon soaked blackberries with hints of vanilla and chocolate.
F- Medium- thin... body a bit thicker than a scotch ale
O- Love this beer. Even at 4 years old it is really coming into its own.
