Had this one at Three Floyds. Pours a hazy deep copper with a very thin head. Aroma is full of piney hops and bourbon with a sweet malt characteristic. Flavor is dominated by the bourbon with some notes of pine and citrus... fairly sweet as well. Body is full and thick. This is a very good beer, but a notch or two lower than Dreadnaught. Still, this is one worth trying if you come across it.

Bourbon barrel aged Dreadnaught that has been lying around the brewery for the last 10 months. Dark copper in color with little head. I don't have the appropriate glassware to judge appearance fairly though. Aroma is of bourbon (Old Grandad), subdued hops, sweet malt. The taste is dominated by the bourbon. The once mighty hoppiness is barely noticable now. A lessor beer couldn't have stood up this well. I almost feel like I should be doing shots of this stuff. Tounge tingling & belly warming. A real treat to have this extremely limited offering.
