Hand-pulled half-pint in The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham on 30 Aug 2013.
Rich dark brown/black in colour with a full and deep beige head of foam.
Intense vanilla aroma and taste: name gives it away somewhat. I found it sweet and most enjoyable, the body being very smooth and creamy. Coffee notes came through from the heavy malt content and it had a semi-bitter finish to each sip.
