Formerly known as Bruin's Nut Brown last year. Same brew, different name. Review from notes. Growler from tap at brewery.
A: Pours a dark brown almost mahogany color with a half finger caramel colored head that leaves lace.
S: Aromas of burnt roasted malts and sweet chocolate chips. Some caramel also. Slight fruit hop presence. Very good smelling beer.
T & M: Tastes of caramel and chocolate malts with a slight floral hoppyness that follows the malts. Bitter dry ending. Slick but with a tender velvety feel through the mouth. Coats the mouth well. Pretty good body to this one. Also well balanced.
D: Drinkable, but not a session beer. A fine offering from Cisco.
