This beer must be new to Cisco because this Summer is my first time seeing it. Wanted to see how it stacked up to their Gripah IPA and the Getaway does not compete well with it. It had a nice IPA brownish tint to it with a inviting foamy head. The hoppy aromas really catch your nose. However, it is pretty bitter and leaves a grassy after taste in your mouth. A little difficult to drink if you aren't a fan of very hoppy tasting beers. Not bad, not great.

Drank from a 12 ounce can.
Appearance: very light honey in color, nice 1” head, good lacing.
Smell: very subtle grapefruit.
Taste: smooth, ends bitter.
Mouth Feel: medium carbonated, thin, smooth.
A drinkable beer. I would purchase again.

Picked-up a twelve-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about fourteen dollars. Have had several brews from these guys before. Solid, if unremarkable brew, but a nice option when shopping on a budget.

12 oz. Can 12 pack. $10.99 at Market Basket.

Tasting notes from the can:
Hoppy aroma
Big & bold
Dry finish
Pours out totally clear golden amber.
Fine white foam cap forms. Settles right down. Only a thin foam ring around the circumference is eventually left.
I want to make this point very clear... This is a very basic, bare bones style IPA!
That being said, the aroma has a nice combination of earthy and fruity aroma's. Almost APA level, but still very pleasant. Earth n grains mixed with citrus, pine, caramel malt sweetness and a classic aromatic balance.
A note on the mouthfeel: light, crisp... Energetic with a thirst quenching dry finish. No joke, it's nice.
A dry, earthy and grainy hop and malt balance supreme in the overall flavor. Crisp, earthy malted grains, golden wheat with the earthy spice hops that get mildly piney and citric.
This IPA is a fine example of what I consider to be a "what a beer should be". It's Soo balanced... Incredibly balanced. Towing the line between AIPA and a APA. The wonderous balance also makes it CRAZY drinkable. Bottomless.
