Dense, off-white base. Great lasting power, it is present throughout the tasting. Good blanketing lace. The liquid is solidly amber and hazy.
Attractive blend of soft, lightly toasted barley malt and pleasant floral hops. Definitive maltose sugars to the nose, similar to the smell of the wort on the kettle.
Less sweet flavor but with more toasted bread. Well balanced with hop showing up as a peppery spice. The body is fuller and the effervescence is also higher. The swallow becomes more bitter but the finish and moderate aftertaste remain balanced. Overall, a better than most APA.
