On-tap at Prime 16 into an Allagash goblet.
A: Bright hazy gold body under a finger of frothy white head; ok retention, light lace. Decent.
S: Fairly straightforward lactic sourness; moderate citrus, faint oak. Solid, but not memorable.
T: Much brighter and fresher than the nose, with tingly tartness up front, followed by huge, juicy citrus (lime and tangerine, then grapefruit toward the tail end), and a bit of oaky vanilla on the finish. Refreshing, complex, and delicious.
M: Medium body with lively effervescence. Nice.
O: Extremely tasty sour, but the aroma just wasn't dynamic enough to make it tremendous overall. I'd love to drink it on a hot summer day, but it isn't my favorite entry in the Woods series.
Cheers!

A: this is the only spot where im not overly pleased. a light golden color with very minimal head. theres a few chunks of bubbles floating on top but they dont stick around for long. sitting in the glass it just looks fairly average. i can actually see the floor looking through the top, its that see thru.
S: a very nice light funkiness thats quite enjoyable. this one is definitely not overdone.
T: fairly noticable oak presence, the chardonnay barrels did it justice. theres some traces of either nectarine or tangerine on the backend.
M: very low carbonation, which is perfect because it lets the flavors shine particularly well. this is one of the most balanced woods series ive had so far.
D: with the low ABV, i can drink this all night long. it really is delicious and im glad the growler still has 2/3s left in it. hopefully it hits bottles like it was originally supposed to.
