This is where you will find the best rare, hard-to-find, and limited releases of beer, wine, and liquor in the Santa Clarita Valley. Prices are sometimes lower but more often higher than larger stores. The experience of finding things you can't easily get in SoCal make it worth the few extra bucks you will spend.

Random store tucked off of I5 in Valencia. Went there based on reviews on this site. The store is actually pretty big and the beer section is the whole right wall plus the coolers. Scored big with some Brew Rebellion, Wootstout 2.0, and some Velvet Merkins. They also had lots of Ballast point, Bruery, and FW DDBAs. Cool store about 1 min from the freeway. Will o back next time I'm down there.

Very good selection with some tough to find brews, and competitively priced. I stop in every time I pass through the area, even though it is somewhat "tucked away" from the freeway.

Sunrise Spirits is one of those places that kinda baffles your mind a bit. Its a place that is sort of tucked away in a place in Valenica where you would never think to look for goods brews. From the outside, it really just looks like a run of the mill liquor store. Alas, this is a great little gem of our Valley, with many a special release beers on the shelf on a regular basis. Not a huge selection, mind you, but I have picked up some really nice bottles here, including several Parabola '11 and Abyss '10. The bottles here dont get snatched up in 10 seconds like everywhere else, which is nice.
The guys who are usually working there are very friendly, and prices aren't too bad either. I'm always dropping by here once a week to see whats come in. There's always something special.

Sunrise Spirits is pretty close to the elementary school I went to, and my friends and I used to bike here after school to buy candy before we knew what alcohol really was. Walking in you get the feel of a typical out of the way liquor store with liquor, wine, beer, and other stuff like lotto and food. The beer selection occupies coolers along the back wall as well as a row of shelves on one of the aisles. The selection includes the BMC beers as well as the well known imports and a good selection of craft offerings. I have seen Deschutes, Firestone, Widmer, DFH, etc. all with bottles of rare or limited release brews from time to time. Quality is good as most offerings are current and well rotated. Prices overall are reasonable for the offerings they carry.
