This store has a great beer selection at fantastic prices! My husband and I make a beer run to Columbus every other month or so, and this is the first place we visit.

Supermarket-like setup with a significantly larger selection than most grocery stores, including many imports and a large selection of individual bottles. Also an excellent and knowledgable staff and a bar for sampling some of the beers available.

Great selection (especially for a grocery store - one-stop shopping, yeah!).
Staff knowledge varies but all staff are enthusiastic and helpful.
In particular, if you have something they don't have, they will try to order it for you. Just ask one of the dudes manning the cooler. I'm waiting to hear if they can get the Clown Shoes chocolate chili stout (Chocolate Sombrero) that I bought there last year. Hoping it's still out there somewhere.

Pub area is nice. Draft beer and pub food options limited but the prices are really good (especially on growlers). There is an adjacent food court so plenty of options there. And the pub food serving sizes are generous (try the fish and chips and bring a friend to help finish it). Service is a little slow though.

Outstanding craft beer selection - significantly more extensive than the selection contained at Weilands. Price is competitive with Andersons or Weilands though the staff is no where near as knowledgeable or helpful as at Weilands. Added benefit is the extensive food court and diverse grocery selection particularly the cheese section which is world class.

If you want it here it is come and get it. Wine selection huge, Food selection huge, need groceries too or just eat here. Just in the door and they had a huge case full of singles. Excellent selection right off the bat. Then the displays of seasonal's all over evry time I turned around I found more I wanted. I was not even in the cooler yet. Once inside the walk in cooler I found more. They had many 12 packs of items I can normally only find in 6 packs. This place rivals the Andersons up near 161.

Giant Eagle Market District truly is a SUPER market. This place is HUGE. It is almost the size of a typical Columbus area Walmart, but is just a food mart. I don't need to really touch on the rest of the store, this is a place to review beer, not anything else.

This place is always packed, but luckily the beer and wine is located in almost a separate wing of the supermarket. There is even a short row of checkout counters that are made for small purchases of food, beer or wine. The location of the beer section is nice and out of the way of most of the hustle and bustle of the giant store. You are able to drink beer and wine in their little cafe area located adjacent to the alcohol section, but the serving size has to be below some number of ounces.

The selection isn't huge or mind blowing, but it is the best that any Giant Eagle has to offer. There is a medium sized open cooler full of bombers and 750s. This is the bulk of their selection. A few cooler doors and a walk in cave hold the 6 packs. I don't think you'll find anything limited here, but chances are you'll walk away with some old favorites and even a new beer or two.

I'd wager that the service is poor here. I wouldn't put too much stock in any clerks actually knowing about beer.

This store is a destination, for sure; just not quite a beer only destination.
