8oz sample from a growler from The Casual Pint. Thanks B-I-L Brian. Visiting Knoxville over the weekend.
Zinfandel color body with a small white head which dissipates to a faint covering.
Aroma is of malt only. not getting the cranberries.
Bearing in mind this is a Gose style, a style I don't particularly care for if the salt is strong, the flavor is slightly tart from the cranberries, and also faintly sour. There is no brineyness at all, which is fine in my book.
Mouth is between thin and medium.
overall, comes off as a mild and inoffensive sour beer.
