A: Poured a copper color with good carbonation and a nice white cap
S: You can smell bitterness and booze
T: Big caramel malt, way to much bitterness. It was like drinking bitter caramel. So much bittering it carried a metallic taste to it
M: Medium body, off balanced for the style and not pleasant
O: Pass

Had the opportunity to taste all of the fresh draft and cask beer available during a recent trip to the Disney Boardwalk.
This was an excellent American Pale Ale. This was Brewer Kent's Soleil IPA (French for Sun) and is part of the Brewer's Select Series.
7.3 ABV
officially 60 IBUs (seems higher to me)
15.8 OG
Could float a quarter on my first pints head.
Beautiful orange-amber color, no haze
Hoppy Citrus flavors dominate
Clean dry finish

Pours a copper color. Not much aroma, a little hoppy and sweet. The server had described this as a "special very hoppy IPA". Not so much. It lacked a lot in the hops department. A little hop flavor at first sip but then quickly fades. A little watery for this style. I'm afraid the Disney people stole the hops to make this a safe for all IPA.

a: This was a dark, hazy copper color. It was served to me with a short, frothy cap.
s: More sweet than bitter, I smelled rough, sugary caramel and some bitter, flowery and piny hops.
t: A bit too sweet for the style. Strong caramel and toffee flavors backed by some bitterness that was faintly piny.
m: Nicely beefy body and crisply carbonated.
d: Not bad, but not hoppy enough. Perhaps this has been around for too long.
