Pours a beautiful honey amber into my tulip glass. A nice fluffy tinted head floats gently before fading and leaving spiderwebs of sticky lacing dripping all around the glass. Just stunning!
Lime zest, grapefruit, agave, toasted oak and hints of vanilla as it warms. Some nice sweet toasty malts lie beneath and blend effortlessly with all of the tart citrus notes. You really get the tequila/citrus. The nose on this is no joke! I could keep my nose buried in this glass all evening.
Wow! A rush of fresh lime zest, tequila and citrus just crush you right off the bat, and I mean that only in the best of ways!!! Gentle notes of vanilla, lightly toasted granola and grapefruit, pine needles and more lime weave in and around your mouth. The citrus is so fresh tasting and leaves no bitterness. Absolutely amazing!!!
Nice sparkling pop and very refreshing! I'd mow my lawn twice in a day if I could drink one of these after each time I did! This is probably the best barrel aged version of any IPA I've ever tried. It never feels boozy like bourbon IPAs always do. It's just such a perfect fit for an already citrusy IPA! Unreal!!!
