Bottled 3/15/16. Enjoyed 4/2/16.
L - Darker, amber hue with a honey-colored translucency near the bottom of the glass.
S - A sour, berry-like dominant nose with a great bit of tart.
T - A very tart taste upfront with definite pomegranate notes of taste. A smooth, earthy-finish as the witbier goes down.
F - Heavy carbonation and a tart domination throughout.
A great offering from Shmaltz. Though I expected more out of a barrel-aged product, it's definitely easy tasting and a good experience. I would definitely drink again, though not at the price point ($23 a 64oz growler).
