12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled very floral and citrusy. Very piney hop bite with toasted caramel and faint citrus flavors.

Pours a clear amber color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus hops, slight spicy hops, sweet malt, earthiness, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus hops, slight pale malt, alcohol, slight piney hops, slight spicy hops, and slight earthiness. Overall, good appearance and blend, but the aroma is sharp and the complexity is lacking.

Good looking IPA very dark amber brown with a 1/2 inch of froth that settles to a good ring. Smells of good balanced hop to malt and taste pretty good actually a bit heavy on the malt but balanced bitterness and no ethonal taste and I am a happy camper. Body is good medium and somewhat chewy.
Overall didn't expect much since it was 3 dollars a single but it is quite a good beer even slightly warmed!

12oz bottle into Libby Tulip
no date code (shmaltz is notorious for that)
L- chill hazed peach color, thin white head dissipates immediately
S- sweet caramel, tangerine, resiny hop aroma, slight pine as well
T- sweet caramelized sugar, candied citron, with a bitter resin finish
F- thick full-bodied sipper, moderate carbonation
Overall an above average sweet Double IPA, that is balanced by the bitterness to create a 'quench' factor, only to be held back by the 9% ABV

This beer has a fantastic head and nose (I know. It's as if I'm talking about a horse). The flavor not quite balanced according to my tongue, but I love its bitterness. The mouth feel is very good. It lingers but not for too long.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 oz bottle on June 10, 2017. Malts: 2-Row, Maris Otter, Victory, Caramel 20, acidulated and honey. Hops: Calypso, Amarillo, Crystal and Cascade. This one is a little to malt forward and sweet for my tastes.
