Poured from a 12 oz. can. Despite zero agitation, this beer came gushing out of the can, resulting in a black color with several inches of head. Smell is of mild chocolate. Taste is of roasted malts, chocolate, a bit of hops, alcohol is well hidden. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

No dating found on the can.
Pours close to pitch black, if it isn't, nice head of tan foam, great lacing of tan foam around the glass.
Huge chocolate, cocoa nibs smell. Wow. There's something else in there..maybe lactose.
Luscious chocolate stroke cocoa nibs taste. Reminiscent of the Samuel Smith Chocolate beer. Semi sweet with a touch of bitter dark chocolate. Nice balance, good job of hiding the 8%abv.
High end of medium bodied, lowish carbonation.
Delicious beer. I'm a bit puzzled as to how this showed up locally..
