L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a medium brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Sparse lacing.
S: A pretty good, but not great, aroma of cherries, malt, yeast, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a good amount of malt (present throughout), a good shot of tart cherries (a big component), a decent bit of yeast, a little brown ale nuttiness, and a hint of caramel. This flavor is like a mix between a brown ale and a sour beer; it's an uneasy partnership. The tart sourness doesn't always blend well with the brown ale smoothness. Still, an interesting combo.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but it has its strong points. Worth a look.
