Description sounds better than it tasted. It's good but I would not go out of my way to have again.

22 oz brown bottle - 2013 Limited Release
Hebrew Rejewvenator Dubbel Doppel filled my pint glass with a dark amber body that produced a 1-finger khaki colored head. The head was reduced to sporadic lacing. The nose was light, dominated by dark fruit and figs with brown sugar also present. The taste was of lightly toasted malts, figs and more brown sugar. Mouth feel is medium bodied, a little chewy and creamy/smooth.
Beeradvocate list this as an American Strong Ale, however, the label describes it as a Dubble-Dopple with figs added. After consuming I feel it would be more suited classified as a Dopplebock - just a layman's opinion.
