pours very very dark brown, but not quite black. thick cream colored head, good head retention. aroma of dark bitter cocoa and a bit of plum and black cherry. taste is mostly chocolate and dark caramel. starts sweet, finishes drier. medium bodied, fairly smooth.

Aroma is caramel, mild sweetness and piney hops. The flavor is malts, chocolate, mild fruit, slight caramel sweetness and a long and very piney/bitter hop finish.
