Pours a hazy yellow with fluffy head.
Smell is bready, crisp and a tad fruity and yeasty. Notes of citrus, apricot and toast.
Taset is bready, crackery, yeasty and crisp. Soft bitterness and notes of toast, citrus and apricot.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice Kellerbier, easy to drink and balanced.

Picked up a 0,5L bottle dated 13.02.2024 at the local Edeka whilst buying food for the week. Always down to try another Kellerbier, lately one of my favorite styles. This is properly unfiltered and a bit funky. Nose is a bit weak but the flavor is perfect for the style. Slight barniness to the malt profile and wildness to the yeast. Drinks thick but not filling. Slightly sweet with a lovely note of hops in the finish. Very enjoyable beer.

Hazy golden color with frothy off-white head. Aroma has sweet malt and honey with a hint of bread. Taste starts on the sweet side with a good amount of malt and light honey flavor. Finish is balanced out by some hops but you don't really get its flavor. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Quite tasty and chewy.

The best Kellerbier/Zwickel i've had so far.
Very unique too since its a cuvee of a bottom-fermented Kellerbier (85%) and a top-fermented one (15%)

Slightly cloudy orange-gold. Slim head. Deliciously unadulterated, unabashed fresh malt aroma – popcorn and grilled corn and caramel and brioche – with a breeze of grassy hops.
Some weissbier-like fruit-and-spice flavors atop an impressive helles-like pure malt-and-hop base. Banana, honey, clove, lemon, and a big mouthful of bread dough. (Yeah I know that's weird, but it tastes like proving bread smells.) Tangy and sweet in flavor yet dry in the finish and nicely carbonated; not quite fizzy, not quite soft. Yum.
Possible food pairings: sausage, roast chicken, tom yum, buttery/creamy curries, Lebanese, pierogi.
