I've drank this beer many times in southern Germany.
Pours a hazy gold color with a giant head and lots of retention. Smell is nice - wheat and fruit with some clove spiciness. Flavor is similar - very refreshing. I don't drink a lot of this style, but this was a good example of what I like in a Weizen.

5.5%.
Pours hazy golden, big fluffy head that lasts a long time.
Mild smell of sweet bananas, wheat, fruitiness, some clove and vanilla.
Sweet taste of white bread, wheaty malts with some fruitiness (lower banana than expected, a touch of apple acidity and orange juice). Zesty, with a small sourness. Nicely spiced, clove, hint of vanilla, faint honey. Low hops, mild bitterness.
Smooth creamy body, even better if the medium carbonation would have been a bit lower. Not too heavy.
A nice weizen, a nudge higher than the usual run-of-the-mills.

Catch-up rating. Light pale gold, active carbonation and thick, creamy head that sticks around and laces well.Aroma of clove, some banana-like esters and a faint aroma of malt. Flavor of banana, wheat malt. Decent but better Bavarian weizens to be had.

Pour a rather light pale yellow, incredibly carbonated and produces a wonderful head that sticks around and laces well.
Odd aroma of clove and a hint of cooked corn, some banana-like esters and a faint aroma of malt.
Flavor of banana, wheat malt and again a very delicate vegetal caracter, not repulsive but neither attractive. It's ok but there are far better Hefeweizens... maybe my bottle was not so fresh.
