This is a pretty average beer distributor, decent selection, however, the service is lackluster, to say the least. Buying beer is rushed, there is no indicator of what is actually carried, you simply have to hope for the best. I will not be returning due to the treatment I endured upon my last visit. I have been a regular at this distributer for nearly 2 months now, and last time I encountered a new staff member, who claimed my ID wouldn't scan. I encouraged him to try again, or I offered another form of documentation to prove my age, both were unacceptable. I then encouraged him to call the police, in order to verify my age, which he also refused. My recommendation is to find a new place to pick up beer unless you want to be hassled and rushed by disrespectful staff.

For a pretty small distributor in a college town, Sherry's gets the job done. I was one of the people who'd go and get Blue Moon, seasonal Sam Adams, Rogue Dead Guy, Sierra Nevada, etc. so I gave them a lot of money.

Mostly they were, for years, stocked with your Bud, Miller, and other college light beers that everyone buys. But now they carry Great Lakes, Chimay, some Samuel Smith's, and other speciality and micro's (in only some styles, but it's better than nothing) like Ommegang and Young's.

The service has always been good, friendly, fast, and they can special order you -- usually -- whatever you need. I was there again recently and spent a decent amount of money and is my main place to buy beer when I'm in the Meadville area.

Sometimes they have pretty good specials, too, depending on what season it is, what they have too much of, and what people don't buy, and that's always great, too.

The main warehouse distributor in Meadville, PA drive through only classic PA style distibutor. Other than the time when their beer started freezing last winter this place has been nothing but quality for me. A beer impoverished community like this this place actually offers some decent imports and micros, like Rogue Dead Guy, Anchor, Sierra Nevada, and the Erie Brewing lineups. From the import perspective I've bought Corsendonk Abbey Brown small bottles, Paulaner, Franziskaner, Lowenbrau (on sale). Basically the best option for cases of beer in the area unless your willing to drive up I-79 to Erie. The guys working there always friendly folks as long as you know what you want as you drive through no window shopping in and out is what they like, oh and fellow BA allboutbierge has become an employee this summer. All in all Sherry's get's the job done for supplying everybody in Meadville with their beer, cheers to that.
