BBD of 11.08.16.
Maybe the worst looking beer I've ever poured. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. As is normally the case, the bottom is paler than the top part of the beer due to the shape of the glass. However, this one had additional sediment that I've described in other beers before as egg drop soup. This one would be an imperial egg drop soup though. Appearance is of course not the main factor in rating a beer, but this looks so bad I don't even want to drink it. Aroma is slightly better, but perhaps only because the look was so bad. Smells of soap more than anything else. Upfront, the taste is not as bad as expected. There is some fruitiness to it and not much hop bitterness. The end is astringent and at the same time leaving a slightly chalky/milky mouthfeel, not unlike a powder milk-type drink.
Overall, pretty bad. Finished it, but it churned my stomach a bit to do so.
