BB 25-04-06. Great and lasting white head and a beautifullo pale golden colored, clear beer. Nose is very fine hopped, partly flowery, partly fruity/citrussy and that backed with fresh maltyness from fine malts. Taste is also good but IMO litle light. With that very fine and clean but average bitterness and good carbonisation. Feels like silk to me in my mouth and a feast to drink it.

The fine and dense head faded very quickly into a minuscule head, on a bland yellow color. Some maltiness in the nose, but nothing else. The taste is slightly more interesting. This beer is definitely all about its round maltiness that gets faintly caramely and biscuity. In its thinness, the beer is still interesting as it is quite drinkable. The hops are perceptible but not over the top, adding a deep and solid background to the brew. Earthy, but with no apparent link with Christmas: no spices, nothing. Are the guys in Nesselgang always brewing the same beer and do they just change the label according to the season? Not my idea of a Weihnachtsbier; nevertheless, it goes down with no major difficulty.
