my first indian craft brew! pours a rich copper to amber color, hazy for the style, with a nice one inch thick white head of foam. smells flowery, like springtime, with that all important belgian yeast complex assaulting the nostrils as well. the flavor is great, there is a semisweet red malt wash in the beginning, with that floral yeast taking over in the middle, and a long drawn out finish of rich malts and caramel. the strong abv is expertly hidden, not detectable at all. am i really in india? this beer is fantastic. the body isnt heavy at all, despite the cloudy appearance and the high alcohol content. its dangerously sessionable. carbonation is right on, and this was a memorable beer for me.
