Picked up a 32 oz crowler as part of the Groupon deal on 10-3-18.
Beer poured brown with a very nice tan head with that has some decent hang time.
Nose has hints of licorice or anise along with a very nice mildly roasted malt.
Taste has a hint of anise, mild roasted malts, and a nice compliment of hops to balance this out nicely.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall a very easy drinking porter, not overly complex but simply enjoyable!

Appearance: dark brown in color with a 1" head that slowly fell to a thick surface covering.
Smell: roasted malts and some soft chocolate tones were picked up in the aroma.
Taste: roasted malt, milk chocolate, prunes, and a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish,
Overall: an enjoyable and easy to drink porter. Nicely balanced and flavorful.
