Pours a dark brown/garnett with good clarity, one finger of tan head persists and leaves light lacing down the glass.
Aroma is nice with light malt and a hint of toast. There is a spice element to it with ginger and allspice. Light fruitiness.
Taste is more full-flavored than expected for a 3.0% ABV beer, malt, dark caramels and some fruitiness meld very well with the spice package that reminds me of the holidays with ginger, allspice and a hint of clove. The finish leaves malty sweetness and lingering spices, very low hop bitterness. Quite good.
Mouthfeel is medium/light with medium/light carbonation. Doesn't feel as small as it is.
Overall I'm impressed with this beer, great use of spices that doesn't overpower everything else. Flavorfull, balanced and sessionable.
