Very dark brown, almost black. Low level of carbonation, small long-lasting head, nice lace.
Smell is a mixture of roasted malts, hops and spices.
Start is malty, sweetish. Almost immediately roasted bitterness together with notes of black chocolate break in, making the taste richer, delightful. Body medium, even slim for such an intensive brew (gravity could be higher). Mouthfeel can be described as diluted molasses. Finish hoppy, aftertaste bittersweet with a good prportion of malts and candy sugar.
Worth a try.
