The name means "Christmas Beer" in Finnish.
The colour is deep brown with a tint of wine red; the two finger off white head is airy. Very little lacing occurs.
The smell got notes of lightly roasted malt, some bitterness, alcohol and hints of dried fruits. I found it a bit unbalanced with some chemical and frowsy flavours.
The taste is... even worse: An unpleasant sourness blends with an artificial sweetness, notes of roasted nuts and rye bread. The aftertaste is slightly perfumed with fruity flavours, some alcohol and a chemical finish.
The carbonation is mild, small bubbles. The liquid is somewhat smooth.
One of the least inviting beers I have had in a long time.

This beer is slightly darker in color than its sibling beer Jouluolut III. It is also not as hoppy. There is a fuller body and some spiciness, but it does not seem to be as bitter. Not really my cup of tea. There is a difference between these 2 beers and I recommend sticking with the Jouluolut III.
