April 2002: An average Finnish lager. Tasted good on the sundeck of the Helsinki - Tallinn ferry though (on tap), but then most light lagers / pilseners go down easily when the sun is shining!

Pale golden color, medium carbonation, compact short-living head, some lace.

Very nice aroma - herbal with notes of new-mown hay and fresh hops.

Start a bit fizzy, fresh, taste unsophisticated - pale toasted malts balanced by hops, body slim and light, mouthfeel clean & crisp. Finish bitter with well-pronounced hops, aftertaste short, bittersweet.

Probably too simple but not bad at all.

11.2 oz light brown bottle. Freshness date on label.
It pours a pale gold color with a foamy snow-white head on top.
An aroma of cut hay is noticeable at first whiff, then a smell of dried malt emerges. A light breath of floral and citrusy hops enters the scene, then fades.
A raw grainy malt taste arrives in a fizzy effervescence. As the fizz mellows, a pleasant herbal malt taste takes over.
The mild hop bitterness is partly of tart citrus with a mild metallic tang.
This is a brew that begins a bit edgy, and almost harsh, but it becomes quite smooth a drinkable as it warms up.
