Very unusual beer - bottom-fermented, barley & oat malts, spiced with honey. Sounds promising?
Well, that's how the promise is fulfilled. Kaura is a beer of full golden color, relatively high level of carbonation, creamy white head and decent lacing.
Smell is honeyish with sweet malty notes and gentle herbal touch.
Taste is less complex - pale malts in the start, strong honeyish notes, bittersweet finish and long candyish aftertaste. Mouthfeel is crisp at first, then a bit sticky. Body medium.
