Reddish amber with a thin, tan head. Mostly clear. The aroma is toasted malt and nutmeg. The flavor is nutty, toasted malt and spice. Herbal notes as well. Nice crisp finish with an herbal and spice aftertaste. A very good beer overall.

A: Pours a brown/red color with nice big bubbly head and great lacing
S: Sweet, malty biscut scent. Also some spice in there nutmeg or cinnamon scents
T: Malty biscut flavor with a nice spice flavor and hop bite at the end
M: Light to medium bodied beer, lighter bodied than expected based on the appearance. Goes down real smooth though
O: I loved this Oktoberfest, my first of the year but this is a good one for sure. I would get this one again any day

Appears dark orange color with an off white head.
It smells nutty, bread like; I also get a mild caramel malt type of flavor. There is also a slight smoky malty smell; I also get a nice earthy smell as well.
It tastes similar to how it smells. There is a bread like malt flavor. I get a bit of a subdued caramel and toffee like flavor. There is a mild grassy citrus like hop flavor that balances the malt flavor of the beer.
The carbonation of the beer is around medium. There is a smooth creamy mouthfeel to the beer.
The drinkability for the style is very good. It is malty yet it is smooth and refreshing.
Overall one of the best Oktoberfest beers I have had. This is not a style I normally like but this is a great beer.

Copper color with two fingers of cream colored head. Minor lacing. Smell is slightly floral and grain bin. Taste is some sweet malts and a light leathery bitter hop flavor. Good balance for the style. Some cloudiness in the second pour from the bomber. Mouthfeel is just average. Carbonation is a bit low but makes it an easy drinker. At 5.0% abv it is very sessionable.
