On tap at Lompoc Sidebar, 6.12.2010.
Light copper clear body, no visible carbonation and minimal lacing. 1/2 finger white head, thin ring of head around edge of glass. Nose is malt forward, roasty, with floral hop presence on backend. Taste is close to style, sweet, roasted, a bit on the sweet side, some oakiness from barrel aging. Above average effervescent moutfeel, a bit sweet but not sticky. While I don't have ABV info, this is an amped-up barrel aged bock, certainly worth a try. A nice respite from the multitude of hop forward beers in PDX.
