Appearance: Clear orange amber glass holds a thin white foam cover that laces the glass.
Smell: Oh my, hoppity hop hops. Intense alpha acid hop cones, a bit catty, lots of citric grapefruit, little hint of pine, and a bit of sweetness showing through showing it won't be a bitter bomb. Very nice, fresh hop juicy goodness.
Taste: Surprisingly mild bitterness, full flavor, lots of malt support, the total package comes across as clean, balanced, lower end for an IPA, almost a double pale ale.
Mouthfeel: My growler had a pressure leak at the seal, so this is a bit flat, but still enjoyable with a bit of fizz. Medium body has a clean finish, no serious hop oil, almost refreshing.
Overall: Clean, full nose, balanced flavor, a real nice beer. One of the better things to come out of NXNW! Recommended.
