A-Deep dark brown with lighter edgings with a thin tan head that leaves light lacing.
S-A bit of sour mash with faint roasted grain.
T-Nice burnt roast chocolate. A good sour mash twang in the aftertaste. This beer becomes much more pleasant as it warms.
M-Light in body makes it feel a bit thin. Good carbonation help support the roast so that it isnt watery.
D-A decent beer but certainly not great. Fully drinkable but doesnt do much to excite me.

Pours almost solid black with a nice creamy tan head that lasted a fair while. Smell was mild-ish with roasty malt, dusty cocoa powder and a bit chalky. Taste was on par with the smell, with a bit of a drying character and a roasty, chalky cocoa like flavor and a reasonably full body, although not hugely so. Nice slightly drying mouthfeel and a pretty good and drinkable porter overall, I thought. Worth a try, for sure.
