Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours black with an off-white head. The aroma is oak and roasted malt. The flavor is chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
This is a better beer than the regular North by Northwest Espresso Stout because it lacks the odd aromas that are found in the original. Give this one a try.
