This is a collaboration between North by Northwest and Twisted X. The beer is brewed using jalapenos and is aged in tequila barrels. It is a blend of a beer from each brewery.
On tap at the brewery’s Oktoberfest celebration. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. The aroma has some orange citrus hops, as well as some bready malt and quite a bit of jalapeno. The aroma has some nice malt notes, as well as some orange citrus and some nice hotness from the jalapenos. There is also a little bit of oak and some tequila and agave notes in the flavor which go well with the other notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A pretty nice beer.
