On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is full of toffee, with some maple, whiskey and oak notes mixed in. This smells just like I expected it to, a nut brown ale with a lot of barrel-aged notes.
The flavor is similar to the aroma. I get a lot of toffee and oaked notes, as well as some nice maple notes. The alcohol is fairly well hidden and the beer is easy to drink.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
