Black color with a thin beige head with short retention.
Decent aroma with lots of dark chocolate, roasted cocoa, earth and powdered milk.
Flavor with bold notes of roasted coffee, tobacco, earthy and spicy hops, cocoa powder, musk, some butter when it warms up, cola and spices. Gladly it has a non-sweet profile. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Bordering medium body with mild velvet carbonation. Alcohol of 7.5% abv is well mingled among its roasted flavors.
Easy to drink Imperial Stout, actually I would see this more like a Foreign Stout with a lighter and buttered body. Nevertheless, I found it assertive, pleasant with a relative good drinkability.

Thanks Ben for another Argentinian Souvenir!

Pours a solid black with a nice cap of dark khaki foam on top.

I'm scared to drink this after smelling it. The main scent is strongly of mushrooms. There is a bit of cheap chocolate as well with some musty grains. I hope this tastes better than it smells.

Some light roasted malt notes, hints of earthy coffee and chocolate with a bitter finish. Not a whole lot of sweetness at all. Pretty casual flavors for the style, but drinks pretty nicely. Not the most interesting, but not off-putting either.

The feel is actually really nice. Very creamy and velvety carbonation. Smooth, but maybe just a hair thin.

This beer would be so much better if it wasn't for the smell. A pretty drinkable beer with easy to handle stout flavor. I don't need to have it again, but enjoyed the journey of sampling it.
