Enjoyed at the Dive Bar. Served in a standard pint glass.
A - Poured a nice hazy orange golden hue with a good fat one finger white head that faded slowly to leave nice sticky lacing and a thin blanket.
S - Aromas of lovely fruity tropical notes. Pineapple and mango juice. Little malt sweetness. Nothing else going on here, and there doesn't have to be.
T - Taste is more of the nose. Just an incredible amount of mango and pineapple juice. Some nice grassy earthy meadow notes going on, which has to be from the Saaz dry hopping. Really, really delicious without being aggressively bitter. Nice light sweetness too to help offset the straight up tropical notes.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, somewhat smooth. Easy drinking.
O - Overall this beer may be my favourite hoppy offering from Oxbow. Or, at least that I can remember. The tropical notes here are just excellent and really interplay nicely with the Saaz. Could drink this all day long in the summer time.

Half pint on tap at the tasting room in Portland, Maine.
Appearance: Pours a hazy gold/straw with a big pillowy white head. Ringed lacing on way down.
Aroma: Nice nose. Smells of pineapple, mango and some sugar.
Taste: Very nice light-ish IPA. Those mango and pineapple notes are right there. Some sweetness that is somewhat candy-like, in an appealing way. Nice summery IPA.
Mouthfeel: Light and easy. Very drinkable.
Overall: Nice effort from Oxbow, which is swiftly becoming one of my favorite brewers.
