Slightly hazy amber pour topped by a big, bright white head. The aroma blends malt with grassy notes and a touch of citrus. The flavor leans malty up front, followed by a strong yet well‑balanced hoppy bitterness that carries through the finish. A nicely executed, generously hopped lager.

The tap pour is clear, amber and hosts a thin cap of white foam.
The aroma is faint with pine and fruit noted.
The flavor is very full with grapefruit and grassy aspects.
The finish is somewhat dry.
This is quite good. I’ll order it again.

L: dark orange or amber in color. More than a one-finger rocky head that lasts awhile. Lots of lacing.
S: fruity. Dark fruits, berry or grapefruit. Floral and lemony hops.
T: Strong malt in the background. Fruity/citrusy again in the forefront, but not overpowering. Mostly orange and grapefruit. Sweet. Lemony hop zest at the end.
F: medium-full bodied. Relatively dry finish. Somewhat heavy.
O: I liked this FAR more than I expected. Bought on a whim due to it being an Oxbow beer I hadn’t had yet. Lots of aromas and a retracted (but still there) hoppiness. Very good IPL.

Pours a clear dark golden color with visible carbonation. A thumbnail length moussy head retains well, displays lacing.
The nose is herbal and dank thanks to the dry hopping. Aromas of bready malt, sweet biscuit, fresh cut flowers, grass, pine, orange, grapefruit and peach.
A sweet and crisp bready malt backbone displays notes of cracker and honey, and is balanced by grassy and piney hops bitterness. Notes of grapefruit, lemon, peach, white pepper and floral spices.
Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. The mouthfeel is clean and crisp but with some malty fullness. The finish is dry with lingering herbal and resiny bitterness.
An enjoyable well hopped lager. I would have again.

Can from the brewery in Portland during 2020 Maine trip. Pours an almost clear golden orange with a fluffy white head, smell is citrusy and grassy with a hint of caramel/biscuity malts, taste is doughy malt candy with a nice mild grassy bitterness on the finish, fell is light to medium with nice carbonation. A nice lager with a hint of extra hop bite.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells a bit grainy, in a good way, with tea-like and peppery hops, lemon, and melon.
This is really thirst-quenching and refreshing, with a really crisp hop bite on the end - lemon peel, tea, black pepper, a bit of grassiness. It's got that clean Amarillo bitterness that I really dig. There's not much fruity hop character, maybe a little bit of lemon peel, or soft melon.
This is very light bodied, but with a very clean bitterness and a very high level of drinkability.
I've recently rediscovered Oxbow lately, and I've been very happy with what I've tried.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a shaker pint.
Pours a cloudy gold color with a finger of sudsy white head. The head leaves a huge crown of lacing as it quickly settles into a ghostly thin sheet.
The aroma is exceptionally grainy, and modestly yeasty, with some faint citrusy floral hop notes. A touch peppery. Smells like a brewery and I'm all about it.
The flavor is very floral, with plenty of citrusy hop notes; namely grapefruit, orange and lemon zest. The middle is full of cereal grains, freshly baked bread, and lager yeast. Finishes earthy and peppery with a hint of pine.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very clean and smooth, with a dry finish.
Overall, this is a great hoppy lager. The ale hops definitely shine, but don't overpower. This is an exceptionally well-balanced brew, that has managed to restrain the "IPA" side to put it on equal footing with the Lager side. It's very hoppy, yet clean, crisp, and very dry.

Pours into a half liter stein a clear shimmering golden with a full one finger bone white head that settles pretty quickly into a soapy-like mass.Mainly overripe tropical fruits and floral notes in the nose,a slight drying toasted grain element emerges as it warms a little.A decent shot of grapefruit rind on more bitter than expected palate, very dry....Like very dry, some earth and ore bitterness in the finish.Wow the flavors seem alot different the the aromas,I like bitter but the flavors didn't meld with the aromas much.I still like it,just took a few drinks to get it together.
