Notes:
Grand Royal is a Munich-style pale lager brewed with European malts and noble hops. This bright, Bavarian-born lager is our take on a style driven by technique, tradition, and simplicity. Gold in color with notes of bread dough, biscuits, fresh-cut grass, and flowers with a moderate malt sweetness, balanced bitterness, and crisp finish.

Canned on date is not readable ends in 6/20 form bottom stamp. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Clear gold hue with 1-finger off-white frothy head with average retention and spotty lacing.
S: Bready malt with touch of nuttiness with lemony, herbal, floral noble hop character
T: Flavor is clean and malt-forward with bready and light biscuit notes and strong malt burst in the finish countered with light lemon, floral, and grassy/herbal hop notes. No esters, very clean, with malty aftertaste and no alcohol notes.
M: Crisp finish but a somewhat out of character slickness with light body.
O: A very enjoyable helles from a solid American lagerbier maker.

Poured from 16 oz can dated 12/16/20. Pours dark straw yellow with initial good head that rapidly recedes. Crisp - but not overly - hops flavor with a decent amount of malt to hold it up. Very good!

-golden-orange can pour holds a distinct haze and a 1/2 cm foam cap that dissipates quickly. The aroma includes faint woody hop notes and a lemony aspect.
The flavor is malt dominated with bread-cracker most prominent. The hops balance malt sweetness.
The brew is less dry than expected.
-flavorful and welcomed

A: The beer is clear light golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving only a minuscule ring around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral and spicy hops are present in the nose along with hints of biscuity malts.
T: The taste follows the smell but there are stronger underlying notes of biscuit malts. The hops also contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit clean and dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the delicate nature of the malts and hops in this lager as neither of them were all that strong in nature.
