Bottle from blending and bottling in Portland. Pours a clear rusty amber with a finger of creamy white head that sticks around, decent lacing, smell is sour and seedy strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, red currant hard candy, bay leaf, funky and vegetal sour grass, hints of honey and brine, taste is big Brett barnyard/bovine funk, leather, red currant hard candy, welches grape soda, marmalade, herbaceous sour grass and honey in the finish, hints of brine-y vegetal character and charcoal, feel is medium bodied, bright carbonation, medium acidity. A fun fruity funky treat, outdoor seaweeds lobster BBQ vibes.

Dirty burnt orange faded body with a white cap. Smells like someone dropped seaweed chips into an oak foeder aged saison. Taste is awful in how the saltiness and vegetable nature of the kelp clashes with the mildly sour and funky saison, at war with itself while honey pile drives everyone with sweetness. Orange, hay, and lemon zest emerge but even so in this clash no one wins Feel is sour, salty, mildly funky, and lighter bodied. Call me a purist but beer should not be salty, let alone clashing with it
