Drinking out of a small goblet.
Pours a slightly reddish, clear black with a thin tan head.

Nice smooth mouth feel.
Nice and dry taste. Subdued.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, cola. Taste is the same as the aroma, light hops are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

On tap at Sovereign in DC. Not much head on the pour, looks a bit flat. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Taste is similar at first, but quite tart and astringent on the finish. Drinks pretty thin, but some how also zesty. Not a fan of the mouthfeel of this one.

From a can into a "can" glass. Pours black with a long-lasting few fingers of tan head. Smells of chocolate and cola. The flavor is dark chocolate and cola. The mouthfeel is medium, on the thin side, and finishes with an astringent feeling. Not what I expected.
