On tap at Farmhouse. Hazy deep amber body. Smells of toasted malt, dark fruit acidity, some earthy yeast aromas. Tastes quite tart up front. Lemon and dark fruit sourness combined. Toasty malt. Earthy spicy finish. Medium body. Very good. Vastly different from the other Oxbow Biere de Garde I have tried.

Had this on tap at the anniversary party and must say it was the first Oxbow beer that i was fairly underwhelmet by and wouldn't get again.
A: translucent brown with a bit of lace
S: very earthy, dirt, bit of caramel raisin
T: malt profile hits upfront with very earthy tones with fairly bad aftertaste

On tap at When Pigs Fly. In a snifter the beer was rust-colored with a medium-sized off-white head. There was a fair amount of lace.
Hoppy aroma, earthy. Some dark fruit.
Plum and raisin. Earthy.
A nice balance between the fruit and the hops. I had a couple and easily could have had a couple more.
